Following her admission as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW and the High Court of Australia in 1999, Carrie worked for litigation firms in Australia and the United Kingdom before founding Peterson Haines.

Siyang Dai

Disputes and Commercial Lawyer

Siyang is a highly motivated solicitor with accumulated experience in a broad range of litigious and non-litigious commercial matters. Since being admitted as a lawyer in 2019, Siyang has represented clients in New South Wales and federal courts and tribunals with a focus on contract, real property, intellectual property, building and construction and corporate disputes whilst continuing to expand her areas of practice such as professional negligence and insolvency. Her passion lies in providing tailored solutions to complex legal problems and achieving commercially sensible results for clients.

Siyang resolves a dispute with the benefit of her transactional skills. She has advised business owners on corporate structure, leases, franchises, finances, trademark, copyright and workplace compliance, and regularly reviews and negotiates contracts. She understands clients’ business interests and contributes to settling claims on commercial terms without causing damage to their reputations.

Siyang is also qualified to practice law in the People’s Republic of China and can offer legal services in Mandarin.
